- ... that the Pelican Portrait of Queen Elizabeth I (pictured) is named for the pendant on her breast in the form of a pelican in her piety?

New article is 3,188 characters long and nominated on the same day as first expansion. No copyvios detected and duplication detector check of online sources[1][2][3] reveal no close paraphrasing issues (AGF books and offline refs which can't go through Dup detector). Article is well-sourced. Hook is 135 characters long (under 200 character max.) and is interesting. AGF ref 2 (verifying the hook) which is offline. QPQ done. Image is free and in public domain.
