Its a shame how little recognition Peerless gets... this article certainly is a "stub."

Peerless used to be known, along with Packard and Pierce-Arrow, as one of the "three P's of automobiles," due to all three's extreme luxury.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.31.111.217 (talk) 01:40, 15 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have updated the history section considerably, as well as included this anecdote with a citation in the introduction.--Stratocaster27t@lk 05:32, 18 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Additional Editing Needed

edit

I welcome any additional constructive editing to this page, as it seems that the number of edits done to the page would have produced something more significant than what existed a few hours ago. Anyway, Peerless vehicles hold a special place in my heart as I own a 1929 Six-81 sedan. I would love to create a comprehensive model list, however I can only find information about selected models. Does anyone have at least a partial list? Cheers --Stratocaster27t@lk 05:32, 18 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Bicycle industry contribution to automobiles

edit

Was Peerless Motor Company, (or the 3P's), related to the Peerless bicycles, (and Packard and Pierce and Pope bicycles); I don't see mention in either the history section, or the disambiguation page. On the other hand, I do see a link to beer.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:387:8:f::78 (talk) 18:21, 5 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

– There are 15 entries listed upon the Peerless (disambiguation) page and it is not certain that the American automobile manufacturer listed as "Defunct 1931", nearly a hundred years ago, continues to have greater prominence than the combined notability of the other 14, including another defunct company, Peerless (UK car). If consensus can be found for the analogous short form — Peerless Motor CompanyPeerless (U.S. car) — I would also support such a reduction in header length. — Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 05:35, 30 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
