Roman Road

edit

I'm surprised to see it called that. It used to be believed it was a pre-Roman trackway that was used by the Romans. Can't find a source though.Costesseyboy (talk) 22:41, 29 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

I see numerous sources saying it was a Roman military road. However, East Anglian Landscapes: Past and Present by J.R. Ravensdale and Richard Muir [1] which looks like a reliable source says "It does not seem to be an entirely Roman creationm but rather a Roman remodelling of an ancient branch of the Icknield Way." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dougweller (talkcontribs) 08:50, 30 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Shouldn't that opinion be added to the article?Costesseyboy (talk) 22:35, 5 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
