Redirect to Peccary edit

This article used to be a simple redirect to peccary. Maybe pecora is a regional name, or name in another language, for peccary, but the word pecora is never mentioned in the peccary article.

Pecora is also a widely used name for a clade of ruminants, as explained in the short article now posted here. If anyone knows of an alternative meaning of pecora, feel free to add a link to it at the top of this article.

Fossil Range edit

The fossil range for Pecora says that they originated 20 million years ago, yet Palaeomerycidae, almost definite pecorans, are known from the Eocene. ~Lord Marcellus 18:17, 29 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Why the peccaries? edit

The collage in the infobox has some images of peccaries even though they're not pecorans and aren't mentioned in the article. Based on previous talk sections here, I assume this is caused by some misunderstanding from dialect? Please stop. (talk) 04:10, 23 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
