On the topic of the recent notability tag of the article, I am aware it currently has very little sources which verify it's notibility, infact this was something I had tagged the predecessor article for prior to the new article carrying the correct name.

However, upon the creation of the article (Done about an hour ago?), I'm currently sitting behind a whitelist on my point of access and unfortunatly am unable to find sources as needed here.

Pearson PLC is currently the leading entity in the learning industry, while also owning a rather long list of publishing companies, such as Penguin, Cisco Press, Heinemann (publisher) to name just three from a quick selection from three areas they operate in.

They even own and operate one of the dominating education and assessment authorities, Edexcel and even corporate level assessment with Pearson VUE.

With their domination of the educational textbook industry and such a grip on the not just the education industry but education itself, Pearson is anything but not notable.

However, up till Pearson in Practice, Pearson PLC has not set foot in the domain of the actual education of students in terms of teaching in the classroom as a verified and recognised educational institute, despite the control they exert over the concept of education in modern civilisation, not just the industry.

Pearson in Practice only came into being in 2011 following acquisition of Zenos Academy, An IT instituion with many campuses and thousands of students per year found in the UK. Zenos Academy was founded in 2001 and taken over in 2011 by Pearson PLC and used as the foundation for development into Pearson in Practice, using the infrastructure in place already to facilitate it's launch into the global scene.

Currently, Pearson in Practice is operating a pilot program with 7 selected candidates to evaluate the viability of their global expansion, currently based in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates to establish the course of action for their global expansion and entry into the last aspect of education left untouched by Pearson PLC, actual teaching.

The significance of this is difficult to understate as it will quite literally give Pearson PLC a very influential presence in education as a social concept, not just in terms of an industry.

If some editors who have access to the world wide web freely, would be able to find some sources for this it would be greatly appreciated, I would do it myself but I am unfortunately behind a whitelist which makes this impossible for me, at least wikipedia is accessible. Article Rework in Progress (From Zenos written Advert to Article on Pearson in Practice)

This article had its beginnings as a stub written by what appeared to be Zenos Academy itself as a form of advertising, albiet it managed to survive for a number of years in Wikipedia but was rare, if ever updated with correct information or expanded upon.

In 2011, it was purchased and acquired by Pearson PLC and renamed Pearson in Practice, after which it was subject to significant infrastructure overhaul and reorganisation so that it may serve as a foundation for Pearson's first steps into teaching, rather than just textbooks and exam writing/assessing as it has existed for over a decade.

Currently, this overhaul is ongoing and far from settled into a stable state, the concept of teaching on an international level, is in itself, still being examined, analysed and developed over the course of a test pilot program currently under way in Dubai.

As a result, information for detailed expansion on Pearson in Practice is hardly found to be up-to-date with tweaks, changes and new plans emerging every few weeks and in some cases, days!

Additionally, some of the information found in the original Zenos Academy article on policies regarding services offered or government-funding status, still hold true as the restructuring of the newly acquired entity is anything but complete. However, as Pearson in Practice better fills in the shades of it's identity, the policies and identity of Zenos Academy is phased out and replaced by the relevant concept formed in Pearson in Practice, though as of writing, some Zenos policies can still be found, though this mix of company policies and identity will not be a long term state.

The pilot program in Dubai will be entering it's final stage in the next few weeks with the first attempt by Pearson in Practice to carry over the Apprenticeship program offered by Zenos to the international stage in the form of an internship instead. As such, information on this will become availiable only then.
