Design is similar to South Quay footbridge (original version) in London Docklands (built 1987)
editThe design of this bridge is almost the same as the original version of the South Quay footbridge in London's Docklands. That was built in 1987 also by WilkinsonEyre but it wasn't as long.
Perhaps an interested editor would like to add that fact & cross-reference to the article?
FYI, South Quay bridge has now been part removed and its movable section rotated to accommodate part of the dock being filled in, so the resemblance is no longer apparent unless you knew the original version (or do some googling).
