Primary topic edit

I think the primary topic is quite certain (a redirect to Classical conditioning) compared with the other entries, so either:

  1. Pavlov's dog is synonymous with Classical conditioning (my reasoning)
    1. per MOS:DABPRIMARY : "Pavlov's dog is classical conditioning, originally experiments using dogs by the Russian physiologist Ivan Pavlov." or
  2. Pavlov's dog is not synonymous with Classical conditioning, but meer mentioned (WP:DABMENTION) in Classical conditioning (presumably User:Rmhermen 's reasoning per "Easter eggy" edit summary)
    1. per ? : "Pavlov's dog are classical conditioning experiments using dogs by the Russian physiologist Ivan Pavlov"
    2. or per ? "Pavlov's dog are classical conditioning experiments using dogs by the Russian physiologist Ivan Pavlov"

IMO, there is an obvious primary topic for "Pavlov's dog" but a lesser case for a primary topic for the actual ambiguous title "Pavlov's Dog". The disambiguation page should be moved to either Pavlov's Dog (disambiguation) (if the current primary topic for Pavlov's Dog is kept) or to Pavlov's Dog (if not). If there's a primary topic, the base name link (even if it's a redirect) should be used. "Easter eggy" redirects should be deleted; this one isn't. -- JHunterJ (talk) 01:14, 26 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
I agree about moving to Pavlov's Dog (disambiguation). I'm neutral about if there's a primary topic at new location, so will leave that issue. Widefox; talk 00:42, 2 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
My move request was turned down by User:RHaworth who preferred the lowercase. Although I'd prefer agreement here, then action, such a trivial case, I back away. Widefox; talk 12:04, 2 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
Thinking about this, getting User:RHaworth's reasoning seems reasonable - care to comment as I believe all (two) of us agree here but not being an admin, I rely on consensus rather than user rights for moving. Widefox; talk 08:37, 15 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
