new content and citation problems
editThis page is brandnew, before there was only a direct to a section of The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity, because Pavan Sukhdev was the leader of this study. But I thought it would be good to have page P. Sukhdev, because of his new book Corporation 2020. I also integrated a brief abstract of the book, but I couldn't cite it, because I have the kindle-edtion and this edition has no pages only positions (bad idea from amzon!). It should be easy to integrate this citation in the content, because I mainly refered to chapters of the book. --Ai24 (talk) 05:48, 8 March 2014 (UTC)

Help with updating inaccuracies

Hi, I work with Pavan Sukhdev at GIST and would like to propose a correction to the article as there is currently an incorrect statement included - it states that he is currently serving as President of World Wide Fund for Nature but he is no longer in this role as his term expired in December 2021, as evidenced by the sources here:
https://wwf.panda.org/wwf_news/?4485416/WWF-International-announces-search-for-new-President https://sciencebusiness.net/news/data-biodiversity-loss-and-protection-lacking-cop15-conference-hears
Would like to propose the below changes to the page to reflect this: - Update the sentence in the introduction to reflect the updated dates of his term: "Between 2017-2021, he was president of the World Wide Fund for Nature". - Update the Environment section to reflect the updated dates of his term: "2017-2021 President of World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) International From 2017-2021, he was president of the World Wide Fund for Nature and succeeded Yolanda Kakabadse in this position." - Move “Worldwide Fund for Nature, WWF International, President, and Board Chair” into “Past Board Positions” section.
Would someone be able to help with this? Many thanks! MaiaHD2022 (talk) 11:56, 18 November 2022 (UTC)
- Partly done: it looks like this update was made by another user in the environment section. I updated the other two mentions with slight changes. GiovanniSidwell (talk) 23:07, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks so much @GiovanniSidwell. There is still some outdated information in the intro that ideally should be updated - would you be able to help with this as well?
- - The company he founded and leads was renamed to GIST Impact in 2022 and is an impact data and analytics provider, not a consultancy, or named GIST Advisory as currently written - see updated references here: https://gistimpact.com/, https://futurefornature.org/guest_of_honour/pavan-sukhdev/, https://citywire.com/new-model-adviser/news/fnz-invests-in-impact-data-company-to-grow-sustainable-proposition/a2387667
- - The intro also doesn't mention his most significant award - the Tyler Prize (regarded as the Nobel Prize for the Environment) - should this not be included upfront?
