Philippe Laguerie edit

I removed the life story of Philippe Laguarie (which for the description I mistakenly put Paul Touvier, I'm tired). Its not relevent AT ALL that he was later kicked out of the Society of St. Pius X or rejoined the Catholic church, its noted on his own page. In this context it makes it seem like he was kicked out for being nice to Nazi, 8 years later, making the SSPX seem like a nicer organization, that denies the Holocaust and hates Democracy, not to mention women. They don't need false PR. 69.165.138.102 (talk) 15:06, 14 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Plagirism and new source edit

Basically this entire article is written from a single source with little or no attempt at editing. A new French biography, L'Affaire Touvier (ISBN 9782081363588) may be of use to someone who wants to do something about this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.174.192.109 (talk) 20:24, 17 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Arrest and Trial edit

The section mentions his arrest, but says nothing about his trial? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.102.219.141 (talk) 16:56, 8 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Support by the Catholic Church in France edit

I am extremely concerned that nowhere in this article is it mentioned that the men responsible for Touvier’s financial support and physical safety was due to the efforts of highly placed priests, bishops, and cardinals in the Catholic Church in France, and that his pardon by Pompidou was due to years of pressure by politically connected cardinals. The “extreme right wing [read, fascist]” group called The Knights if Notre Dame aren’t mentioned in the Touvier article, and there is no listing for them in Wikipedia. What is wrong with this?? The documentary, “The Nazi Hunters” is referenced, but none of the information presented! This needs to be remedied ASAP, lest people begin to think this information is being purposely withheld. 2600:1700:B0D1:8030:3017:A7F2:FBC5:B6CA (talk) 01:05, 24 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
