Talk:Paul Crespo

Don't present allegations by one politician as fact. edit

There was a section of this article that said Crespo complained about absentee balloting after voting irregularities and witnesses demonstrated absentee ballot abuse benefiting his opponent. The only source for this is a piece (apparently) an op-ed, written by Crespo himself, which happens to be a dead link. Essentially, wording it that way treats self-serving allegations by one campaign against another as a fact. That's a big no-no. We can't treat the claims of one sign of a dispute as confirmed without even one independent source. I'm also concerned about a bit of puffery in the tone of this article. --JamesAM (talk) 15:17, 3 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

What was the resolution to this?

  • Elaine de Valle aka Ladra (2011-04-11). "Crespo is a racy Republican". Political Cortadito.
