Anti-feminist/transphobic works?

Should his works such as Genders or sex stereotypes : Part 1 be referenced in his published works or political views section? He has been fairly vocal on his stances on feminism and queer politics in recent years and it would seem to be relevant.

Good question. Cockshott has indeed been quite vocal on this issue, but are there any WP:RS that talk about it? None of his blog posts are listed under "Published works", and self-published blogs are typically not considered RS. KetchupSalt (talk) 16:39, 24 June 2024 (UTC)

While I can find multiple sources on his stances on trans people, I don't think any of them would be considered reliable.

If self published works cannot be under published works then perhaps it's best to leave this out until a reputable sourcr covers the issue EnbyEditor (talk) 01:07, 25 June 2024 (UTC)

Well, self-published works aren't banned per se. But also if you were inclined to present Cockshott's views as "anti-feminist", then I think you'd need RS to that effect. Paul's views are not anti-feminist I think, just in favor of a particular brand of feminism, as far as I can tell. Hence the importance of RS.

As to the question of Dr. Cockshott's self-published works, that's a good question. Perhaps we should have a separate topic for that? KetchupSalt (talk) 23:43, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
