The Basque nationalists were the party with the most votes, but they did not get a majority. I'm making the change. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.109.113.47 (talk) 13:47, 6 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

"In the 2009 election, the Nationalist Party was the party with the most votes, followed closely by the Socialist Party."

Closely? About 8% of the votes?

"The socialists reached an agreement with the People's Party for López to be elected as Lehendakari (Basque president). He was elected to the position on May 5 2009 in the Basque Parliament, effectively ending thirty years of Basque nationalist rule in the Basque Country."

Thirty years no, from 1980. Is not been Basque nationalist rule only, from 1987 to 1999 has been a Basque nationalist and Socialist government. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.213.132.177 (talk) 23:15, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
