Regarding Soundtrack
Certain scenes in Patriot Games (as well as "Clear and Present Danger") uses music from the movie "Aliens" (also scored by James Horner). http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0105112/trivia —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.226.211.116 (talk) 02:45, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
Not Obvious
- In the film, Admiral Greer and Marty Cantour were asking Jack to come back to the CIA, obviously a reference that The Hunt for Red October film happened before this movie. In the novels, Patriot Games was a prequel to The Hunt for Red October so Greer and Marty were actually recruiting Ryan into the CIA. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.228.240.188 (talk) 15:55, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
Use of the word Terrorist
I removed several instances of the word terrorist, as it is regarded as POV and it's use is not recommended on Wikipedia163.118.92.150 (talk) 00:58, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
- Nonsense. In any case, your replacement "volunteer" makes it sound like he would be saving kittens. Quote from the movie; Jack Ryan: "Listen! Who are we looking for here, huh? IRA terrorists or some ultra-violent faction of the IRA, fighting the cause their way?" --193.254.155.48 (talk) 14:16, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
