Birth year edit

de:Patrick Head lists a different birth year. One of these is wrong and needs to be corrected. -- BRIAN0918  04:58, 26 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Farnborough needs disambiguating, if anyone is able to find out whether he was born in Farnborough, Hampshire or Farnborough, London (which is quite a small place, but has a large maternity hospital). CarolGray 10:02, 2 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • The article says he went to university in Birmingham and Bournmouth. Now I'm sure he graduated from UCL's Mechanical Engineering department. I've added this to the article.--Sennaista 23:53, 2 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
  • He did graduate from UCL in 1970 - it says so in the UCL Alumni magazine "UCL People" (July-December 2006 edition) Walter88 11:55(UTC), 12 August 2006
  • I knew Patrick very well at Wellington College and can confirm that he was born in 1946. He was approximately a year older than me. After leaving Dartmouth Naval College, he went to Birmingham University reading Mechanical Engineering (as I did and as another great friend, Andy Dawson of Dawson Auto Developments, did). None of us did much work as we were too easily sidetracked by motor cars; we all failed our first year exams and got chucked out. Patrick then enrolled at Bournmouth Technical College who ran an external London University degree course in Electrical Engineering. According to Patrick, the first year of the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering courses were identical and after completing the first year at Bournmouth Patrick transferred to the internal London degree course for his second and third years in Mechanical Engineering. If anyone is interested in Patrick's involvement in "grass roots" motor sport before he became famous he/she can find some more information I posted some time ago at the Nostalgia Forum. • No mention of the fact that he was found culpable for the manslaughter of Ayrton Senna in an Italian Court? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.248.156.226 (talk) 06:23, 13 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
