I'm sorry if I inadvertently stepped over anyone else's article. At the time I wrote the article there was nothing else listed. Twin? Really?

Where did this information come from: "He had a twin brother (who assumed a different surname), Sgt. James McKittrick, of Chicago."?

I've actually recently done some genealogical research that may connect my family to this guy (the naming of this guy, his son, and his grandson all match the family pattern), but all my information states he didn't have a twin, he had a sister who was a UCLA librarian. Other info worth adding

With regards to his work on the Tonight Show, according to archive videos from 1974 available on Youtube he apparently sat in for Ed McMahon as co-host on at least one occasion. Also, in 1974, the day after the infamous Academy Awards streaking incident, McCormack performed a streak during Carson's monologue which some media (such as the New York Times) misinterpreted as a genuine disruption of the show. The NYT article claims it never aired but other online sources discussing the incident (not all of which appear aware that it was a gag) suggest it did.
