What you mean by homophobia in this article? Gays in Moldova have the same rights and not going to prison because they are gays. And why PSRM is populist? the Anonymous edit from 7 January 2019

In this edit, the classification of the party as a social right has been erased (without discussion), although the party supports social conservatism, homophobia and cultural isolation / cultural independence. The anonymous person made the correct claim that Wikipedia did not label the Socialist Party of Bulgaria and the Social Democratic Party of Romania as a "social right," and perhaps it should be examined and discussed, but the assertion that "Wikipedia does not state that social positions can be "left" or "right"" It's not true ("Shas" or "Free and Solidary" For example). I want to undo this edit, does anyone have any objection?--E.F Edits (talk) 17:43, 3 February 2019 (UTC)

This party probably is not a centre-left party but a syncretic or a right wing party like Samajwadi Party of India and Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna because of it positions about immigration, LGBT, multiculturalism even compared to other parties with a social justice rhetoric in Eastern Europe like Voice – Social Democracy, Czech Social Democratic Party, PRO Romania, Party of Freedom and Justice, Latvian Progressives, Social Democratic Party of Lithuania, Estonian social democratic party that are trying to avoid homophobic rhetoric and anti-immigration rhetoric. Interpretation of a position

@CentreLeftRight:, your comment [1] says the position is explained in the article body. However, there is no mention of any 'right-wing' in the whole article, what the body goes through is the social conservatism in the party. If you are making an interpretation of social conservatism and democratic socialism to add in your position, it falls under WP:SYNTH. WP:SYNTH: "Do not combine material from multiple sources to reach or imply a conclusion not explicitly stated by any source." Here is a source that describes the position, "With their appeal to the “traditional values” of the family, the left-wing but socially conservative aims to consolidate their support among the traditional electorate, as the same time framing Sandu’s PAS as pro-LGBT." [2] Here is another source that calls their position far-left, "the Kremlin has recently picked the small, far-left Party of Socialists to advance Russia's objectives in Moldova." [3] Europe Elects and Center for Strategic and International Studies both call the position left wing.[4][5] Balkan Insight also calls it left-wing.[6] So based on several sources, left-wing should be the position as the sources describe it as left-wing/far-left and not a single source calls it right-wing, even if it is social conservative. It is pretty common that old communist/socialist parties in eastern Europe have social conservative programs. Seems like the sources accept it is social conservative but still brand it as left-wing. Although it may be confusing due to my reverts, my position is: I support the old revisions that list the political position as "left-wing" with sources (in the article body and not the infobox); I oppose the changes in 2021 that labelled this party variously as "left-wing to far-left", "syncretic", "centre", and "indeterminate".
