Rebuilding the page from the ground up edit

Unfortunately it seems that this page should be deleted and a new page at Partula garrettii should be created. There are several reasons why I think we should do this.

Wrong binomial name edit

The binomial name of the species used on Wikipedia is incorrect (garretti with one "i" instead of garrettii which is correct). While this would normally warrant a move, there is another reason why I think we should just restart the page entirely.

Conservation status edit

The conservations status of "Partula garretti" is "extinct" when in reality it is extinct in the wild. This was caused by the P. garrettii individuals being misidentified as Partula tristis so the species was listed extinct. Eventually the misidentification was cleared up and P. garrettii was declared extinct in the wild by IUCN but it appears Wikipedia has not updated it. While the page is a stub, it will take a long time to change it to be saying the species is extinct in the wild, time that could be used to add new information.
