Swadeshi

edit

There should be some mention of the Swadeshi movement since it was triggered by the partition of Bengal. Miss Clio (talk) 17:48, 12 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Comment

the partition of bengal was first decided in 1903 and after 1905 and return in1911 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.52.155.4 (talkcontribs) 07:30, 11 February 2012‎

This article is totally biased as the partion of Bengal was not for administrative purposes rather was testimony to the divide and rule policy of Britishers who thrived on wealth of India ....stating this division as merely administrative would be non judicious to real facts

Neutrality of article

edit

There are many subjective and possibly biased statements, as well as some potentially based in original research, all throughout this article. Knewhelns (talk) 08:34, 9 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

There seems to be some bias in this article. Statements lean towards support for the British. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.244.141.57 (talk) 14:59, 30 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

"Neutrality" in Wikipedia means being neutral with respect to the reliable secondary sources. Therefore the 'bias' complaint does not apply here. Rjensen (talk) 16:59, 30 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

"The boycott was led by the moderates but minor terrorist groups also sprouted under its cause." What constitutes a terrorist group is not clear? I hope it is not a reference to Indian freedom fighters who believed it is right to use violent means (if it is indeed the reference to them then the term is opinionated) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.162.151.6 (talk) 03:34, 29 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Misleading map

edit

The map is quite misleading. The East Bengal and the West Bengal did not look like the ones created by 1947 partition. Please see

Khulna and Jessore were in Western Bengal then. Malaiya (talk)
