How to update Parkland's logo

I fully disclose that I work for Parkland Health & Hospital System and I wish to only ever edit information directly if it is entirely incorrect. More disclosure - I just added a photo that I took because the use of images was confusing and I wanted to try it out. If it's against Wikipedia's standards that the photo should be deleted, that's 100% OK with me. I also did small edits in April as an exercise before I knew how rightfully strict Wikipedia was with conflict-of-interest.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the death of President John F. Kennedy, and I believe that will lead many people to this page. I don't want a logo that we expired in 2008 to remain on the page when so many people view it. It's also, of course, an incorrect and outdated visual representation of Parkland.

The issue I'm having now is that I cannot find a way to update the company logo on our site. I went through the Commons but got lost in the weeds of the non-free copyright stuff. I'm not even sure if I should have gone through the Commons. I can easily get an email from our marketing director, who "owns" the logo, to sign off on using it. Put simply, I really don't know where to start with the upload or how to clear the logo with the correct copyright tags. I appreciate any help. Jporter1138 (talk) 17:01, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
