Features and Location
editThe term "great marsh" refers to _all_ the vast collection of salt water marshes extending from Cape Ann to New Hampshire, not just the portion related to Plum Island and/or the Parker River. While the marshes on and behind Plum Island are correctly described as being part of the Great Marsh, they are by no means all of it. The "Great Marsh" is _not_ exclusive to the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge.
