From the Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates and numbers):

  • Do not append an s for plurals of unit abbreviations. For example, kg, in, yd, lb not kgs, ins, yds, lbs.

That, of course, is precisely the problem with the image as well. Since the one who keeps reverting and putting those "kms" back in is also the creator of the image (User:Mick Knapton), it would be easiest for that user to fix the image. I imaging there is some way I could crudely paste a correction over it and upload that, but I just as soon not have to. Gene Nygaard 01:26, 15 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
