Would someone add Indian cultural explanations that Westerners won't understand?

It would be great to see an explanation for some things I believe don't make sense to Westerners, who may come to the page to try to find out. Was it just a very bad joke when Rajiv caused Ganga to pour all the sugar into the tea, or was there more to it? Also, do most Indian families have a servant, and is there a caste difference? What was the meaning of the corn Arjun brought to Ganga? Were there no legal repercussions for Ganga's father if he killed both Arjun and Ganga? What were the dancers in the temple, are they always there and is that a traditional kind of dance? What was the meaning of the immodest yellow dancer? What building was the scene filmed in where Ganga confronts Arjun? When Rajiv's father accepted Arjun as his son and gave him a ceremonial-looking slap, was it a ceremony and was it significant? I think if these things have meaning, adding them in where it makes sense in the plot would be very helpful for Western visitors to this page. 172.10.238.180 (talk) 09:47, 13 June 2014 (UTC)

Adding some depth to the plot synopsis

The plot synopsis is very shallow, not explaining the deeper issues in the culture clash that make the movie more meaningful. Because there seems to be no one else here discussing, and possibly there is no one monitoring the page at all, I'm making some additions to the synopsis.
