Needs more (and better) citations

edit

While this article is succinct and contains many links, its only reference is a nearly 20-page span of a textbook published in 2003. Specifically, a citation is needed for the claimed length range of a paratope (species differences, if any, are not even mentioned), but in general this stub could benefit greatly from the addition of several independent sources - primary literature preferably, but even a couple of recent reviews (Annual Review of Immunology, Nature Reviews Immunology, Cell or one of its relatives, Journal of Immunology, etc.) would be fine. Failing even that, a couple of specific (exact page number and quote) citations from textbooks published in the last five years would work.

Expansion of the article to cover more recent research would also help. There have been quite a number of papers in the last 10 years expanding our knowledge of paratope (and CDR) structure, function, and plasticity, especially as it relates to antibody engineering and humanization, including immunogenicity reduction, for therapeutic purposes.
