Genre reversion to Gothic Metal edit

Untitled edit

I have reverted the genre to gothic metal from gothic rock. I had set it to the former before, then Leyasu changed it. Without wishing to get personal on the matter, I feel that this was done primarily because Leyasu is banned from editing the gothic metal article, as I can see no objective reason for the change. This album is clearly more gothic metal than gothic rock and indeed bears little similarity to the bands featured on the latter page. Kylotan 20:00, 21 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:ParadiseLostAlbum.jpg edit

Image:ParadiseLostAlbum.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:22, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sound of Metal (critic) edit

I doubt using this as a source of professional reviews, as they generally hand out good ratings no matter what the article says, and also statistically.

About Nocturnal Rites' "The 8th Sin" (review here: http://www.soundofmetal.se/index.php?page=nocturnalritesthe8thsinreview), the writer concludes "So, final opinion? Well, I think you know that by yourself by now, but for the sake of the review, I’ll write it out anyway. This album wasn’t good, it was just bad. I’m not going to sugarcoat it and say, well it was good, but lots of parts were bad. Or anything like that. This album was simply bad. They fail in many aspects of creating a good album, and the ones that successfully create, aren’t enough to make this album a success. Unless you are a fan of Nocturnal Rites, or really like metal albums filled with electronic effects, don’t bother with this album." Yet giving out a rating of 8/10 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.91.167.111 (talk) 13:13, 20 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
