Per https://www.researchgate.net/publication/247543347_An_annotated_checklist_of_the_Handsome_Fungus_Beetles_of_the_world_Coleoptera_Cucujoidea_Endomychidae this appear to be a junior homonym of a beetle belonging to Anamorphidae, which was named two decades prior. @Hemiauchenia: If it helps, Papuella Richards 1973 (the fly genus) was already renamed to "Papuellicesa" in 2010: [1] However, Papuellicesa already has its own article (created two days after this one was), and the Wikidata item linked to this article is actually for the beetle genus, judging by the linked identifiers and assigned parent taxon. What a mess, but unfortunately not unique. Monster Iestyn (talk) 19:59, 8 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Synonyms inevitably result in a lot of mess. I've changed this article to be about the beetle, if that's ok. Hemiauchenia (talk) 20:08, 8 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Hemiauchenia: Hopefully it's ok, but I honestly have no idea. I've removed the incoming links from the fly articles. (Also if I'm being pedantic, synonym =/= homonym at least in taxonomy) Monster Iestyn (talk) 20:21, 8 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
I agree about the homonym=/= synonym thing, sorry for the unclear wording. Hemiauchenia (talk) 20:24, 8 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
