Fair use rationale for Image:LovelyLadyPP.jpg

Image:LovelyLadyPP.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Censorship by Scientologists

This article used to have a whole lot of information about the history of the Pancake Parlour and it's founders, and it has been idiotically censored by (one can only assume) scientological PR people. Does anyone have a copy of the original (around 2 year old?) version to restore all that information and stop it from being a stub? Dissembly (talk) 00:35, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

A look at the page history shows nothing beyond 2005 - I think you need to chase up an Administrator to restore the old (probably deleted) version. Wongm (talk) 01:40, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
That all sounds a bit paranoid, the full history of the pancake parlor can be found on their website
http://www.pancakeparlour.com/History/history.html
i see no mention of Scientology/aliens/volcanoes etc etc. ps: i'm an atheist--Hypo Mix (talk) 09:57, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

Why mention Scientology at all?

Why is this article part of the Scientology wikiproject? why is Scientology mentioned at all? it’s like saying McDonalds should be under the Christianity wikiproject because it was started by two Christians. I vote we remove all the scientology tags and stuff from this article unless there is referenced material that the restaurant actively participates in scientology events/preaching --Hypo Mix (talk) 10:11, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

I agree (and I am not a scientologist). It should all go. UnitedStatesian (talk) 20:08, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

As there was no objections over a a week or more i have removed the Scientology stubs from this page, there is no reason to mark an article as a certain religion just because the owners where that denomination. unless there is references mentioning direct contributions of P.P to Scientology they should stay off. --Hypo Mix (talk) 01:34, 6 November 2008 (UTC)

Restored relevant information, tags

Restored relevant information, tags. Apparently they employ Scientology practices in the workplace, so this is not simply an unrelated bit of info. Cirt (talk) 23:45, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

point taken, however the discussion should be about employee policies and not the founders. the information on the founders if needed should be put on the founders own pages and not for the restaurant itself. add a section about employee policies if you want, although you will need references stronger than a google search URL. --Hypo Mix (talk) 10:08, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

Victoria Alone?

The article states that, "there are 11 Pancake Parlour stores in Victoria alone..." then goes on to point out that there is also a store in the ACT. Therefore, there are not 11 Pancake Parlour stores in Victoria alone. There are 11 in Victoria and one in the ACT. Pretty sloppy for an "encyclopedia." Oh wait, this is wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.89.67.86 (talk) 06:33, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
