This article name is biased and should be renamed.
editSaying it is an Israeli invasion is extremely biased. This article should be renamed to a more neutral title. 217.180.192.200 (talk) 21:13, 11 March 2024 (UTC)

Remove reference to the death of Muhammad Balah
This article claims that Mohammed Balah was killed on October 11th 2023 with details about his death without providing a source.
A search reveals he had an interview with Al Jazeera on April 2nd 2024 [1], and seems to be present on social media as of June 21st 2024 [2]. The date of his interview is after the attacks and mentions the attacks, and his Instagram account is verified, so I am quite certain it is him and not someone else.
I believe the misunderstanding stems from the fact that the Al Jazeera article used in this article as a source for his death, (https://www.aljazeera.com/sports/2023/10/30/israelis-war-on-gaza-hits-palestinian-football) states that "in one of his last messages on social media, dated October 10, he was less optimistic about surviving the latest round of violence." [3] which was his last social media post at the time the article was written, not his last social media post ever. Zz0621 (talk) 04:03, 27 July 2024 (UTC)

Palestinian sports during the 2023–2024 Israeli invasion of Gaza → Palestinian sports during the Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip – The parent article is Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip. A RM found that the 2023 invasion is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for the term "Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip".VR (Please ping on reply) 02:13, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
