Javanese and former sultanate family accounts of the origin of Palembang Sultanate vs Sululatus Salatin edit

If I am recalling correctly, the origin of the Sultanate of Palembang and whatever happens in Southern Sumatera AFTER the Hindu-Buddhist period (i.e. after Majapahit and WAY after Srivijaya) lacks then-contemporary records. The only records that exist on whatever happens in those region are from mostly Javanese, posthumous records, especially Babad Tanah Jawi, written roughly around 17th century and the unreliable family records of the surviving members of the former royal Palembang family. Can anyone contribute to compare these accounts with the accounts from the MALAY side of the records, especially Sululatus Salatin/Sejarah Melayu? 103.162.237.178 (talk) 07:48, 27 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
