Pakistan Soviet air confrontations during the Soviet Afghan warSoviet-Pakistani aerial engagements in the Soviet Afghan War – Rename is a more intuitive term. AfghanParatrooper19891 (talk) 15:24, 29 March 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. SilverLocust 💬 23:20, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

For context, this request was originally a proposal to make the move Pakistan Soviet air confrontations during the Soviet Afghan warTemplate:Rename, which is nonsensical. I've now noticed that the heading has the actual title suggested — #Rename article to “Soviet-Pakistani aerial engagements in the Soviet Afghan War” — so I've fixed the request to have that title. (The rationale for the move is still a tad confusing.) SilverLocust 💬 22:31, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

No, it DEFINITELY needs an en dash. There's no question. Please see MOSDASH. Tony (talk) 04:29, 2 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

38th Commando Brigade edit

How does 38th Commando Brigade surrenders in an air conflict? 49.181.27.232 (talk) 21:49, 13 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

I don’t think it belongs here. The 38th Commando Brigade landed in Zhawar with helicopters and physically touched the ground, the landing zones were attacked by the mujahideen. The rest of the events were primarily ground combat, and they were captured by the Haqqani mujahideen. AfghanParatrooper19891 (talk) 06:03, 14 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
