Why NPOV? edit

Unless someone can explain here the reason behind the NPOV tag, I am going to remove it from the page. --Jfruh (talk) 20:46, 6 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

It has been a month since your statement and nobody has explained the tag, so I'm going to go ahead and remove it. Krushia 21:22, 6 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

What is the Q for? edit

Why is there a Q in the party's name? --Stlemur 00:06, 7 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

The Q denotes 'Quaid-e-Azam'. After the military coup of 12 october 1999, some opportunists (Shujat Hussain, Mian Azhar, Abida Hussain etc) of the then ruling party formed another party under the aegis of ISI and Musharraf. They were earlier called 'Ham Khayal' (like minded) and later adopted this Q. They have no link with Quaid-e-Azam though--Aileee 15:07, 19 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

IDU edit

I remove their affliation with the IDU as none is supported by the IDU website Nil Einne (talk) 06:31, 29 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

King's party edit

Many, including the Economist's contributors, call the PML Q the "King's Party." I have seen that this is used in the Pakistani press as well but I'm not sure why. Does anyone out there have a source so that we can add it to this article? Arthurian Legend (talk) 01:50, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

It got that name for being a party formed to mobilize support Musharraf (who had already seized power by the time). It should be mentioned, but with a good reference. --Soman (talk) 06:29, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

PML-QA edit

Is PML-QA just another name for the PML-Q ? Apokrif (talk) 16:05, 30 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
