Plot
editAccording to the article, "The drama takes the form of mock combat between the hero and villain, in which the hero is killed and brought back to life, often by a quack doctor." In the Heptonstall Pace Egg Play, however (at least, as performed this year), Bold Slasher is revived by the Doctor, after being killed by St. George.
