In Catalunya we use special tomato varieties as well, there is nothing exceptional on the Mallorcan use of a special variety.
And, why do you write in Spanish? You must use English, and if you're not as comfortable then write in Catalan, the logical language if you're from Mallorca, but Spanish has nothing to do here. 2A02:8428:2003:9001:BD38:5A0B:7A34:D707 (talk) 09:02, 19 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

With one picture showing the dish and three showing the preparation, aren't there eight superfluous pictures in the article? Kind regards, Grueslayer 06:05, 28 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Who added this has no idea what they are talking about:
It is considered one of the typical examples that define the Mediterranean diet, extended as a traditional recipe throughout Spain.
Go to Spain, ask for a sandwich with tomato and 3 out of 4 times they will not rub it on the bread (the Catalan way) but just put tomato slices. So, no, it's not a traditional recipe throughout Spain. And if you find it in some places, it's clearly marked as a Catalan or Mallorcan speciality.

Sería más correcto decir levanté español. 62.43.14.230 (talk) 19:39, 2 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
No, because the pà amb tomàquet is only typical in the Catalan Countries, where Catalan culture is predominant. It is not typical in Murcia nor in Andalusia.
