Demming did'nt recognize PDCA edit

Deming was rather furiers about the PDCA teminologi and would not accept to be refered to this typology because he dislikede the passivity concerning C= Check. Deming introduced PDSA. S=Study wich in his teminology indicates an active aktivity. if nessescery I can dokument evidenc to this topic but a visit to the web site "The W. Edwards Deming Institute" can be helpfull. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.103.40.194 (talk) 06:59, 28 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Somethings inconsistent in the About section: around PDCA / PDSA edit

"PDCA is associated with W. Edwards Deming, who is considered by many to be the father of modern quality control; however, he used PDSA (Plan-Do-Study-Act) and referred to it as the "Shewhart cycle". Later in Deming's career, he modified PDCA to "Plan, Do, Study, Act" (PDSA) because he felt that "check" emphasized inspection over analysis."

Did he start with PDCA and changed later to PDSA or vice versa? Dostl ba (talk) 12:59, 26 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
