P2P caching as a tool to manage P2P edit

This section makes some very general statements that certainly do not apply in many countries, such as: "Their networks are being flooded with P2P traffic but they don’t get any revenue from this additional traffic because they sell flat-rate packages of bandwidth." In many countries (such as Australia), flat rate plans do not exist, and heavy P2P users are forced to switch to larger, more expensive plans, which may be double or triple the cost of "typical" plans. 124.188.210.63 (talk) 07:00, 8 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Dead link Cisco link does not longer exist. It gives a 404 error message: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/solutions/collateral/ns341/ns525/ns537/ns705/ns827/white_paper_c11-481374_ns827_Networking_Solutions_White_Paper.html

I think the link has been moved to: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/solutions/collateral/ns341/ns525/ns537/ns705/ns827/VNI_Hyperconnectivity_WP.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.58.102.6 (talk) 06:55, 17 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
