In Hugh Thomas 'The Spanish Civil War' there is mention that PM served in the International Brigade, which does not appear to tie in with other information on him. Can someone clarify? Jackiespeel 16:01, 19 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
PM is the notable military figure of the 1956 Hungarian Uprising: there is limited historical information on him (David Irving's "Uprising" - which I looked at long ago - does have some material, and is somewhat slanted, as well as having given names in anglicised format).
Anyone care to put a request on the Hungarian version of the talk page Hungarian Uprising page?
Other dates are sometimes given for his year of birth - I have seen 1911 and 1920 - but 1917 is the correct one. Jackiespeel 16:53, 31 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
There are two photos of him on the Getty Images site. Jackiespeel (talk) 18:15, 8 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
Does anyone know what his 'actual nationality' was - Hungarian, Czechoslovakia, or both? Jackiespeel (talk) 20:52, 17 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
