Map is of Africa, not Saint Petersburg
editJust as the heading says: I have no idea why (and lack time or inclination to investigate immediately), but the map shows the West coast of Africa! PJTraill (talk) 23:32, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
- @PJTraill, @Underlying lk, @DannyS712: strange. Wikidata has correct map Estopedist1 (talk) 11:31, 6 October 2021 (UTC)
- @Pasleim, Underlying lk, MusikAnimal, and DannyS712: I see that you were involved in the {{Russia district OSM map}} or mentioned by Estopedist1, so perhaps you can help. I had a quick look at the template, but I see that it consists mainly of an SQL query involving entities of which I currently understand nothing; I am very surprised that is not done by some general-purpose template. I have reproduced the problem on my user page, at User:PJTraill#Saint_Petersburg_map, but the example on the template page displays correctly: perhaps it has to do with the name space in which it is invoked? - It's a SPARQL query, not SQL. I'm afraid this is outside my area of my expertise, too. My involvement with this template was only with page protection. Sorry! The kind folks at WP:VPT might be able to help. — MusikAnimal talk 19:22, 11 October 2021 (UTC)
