Not a KBE as far as I can tell
editThere's no mention of any KBE in either his ADB article or on It's an Honour. That possibly explains why we don't elaborate on a KBE in the Honours section, while we do give details of his GCMG/KCMG and OM.
I'm removing KBE unless someone can verify he really did receive one.
Also, it's inappropriate to write PC as a postnominal unless the person was a peer - and was entitled to be known as The Rt Hon by virtue of that - and was also a member of the Privy Council. In other contexts, the pre-nom "The Rt Hon" tells us they're a member of the Privy Council. True, we don't use such styles here, but that alone doesn't make it ok to write PC. -- JackofOz (talk) 21:53, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
