Surnames

edit

This BBC Web site lists his surnames without a hyphen: <http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02dbd4m>. His Twitter -- <https://twitter.com/owenbennettjone> -- lists his surnames without a hyphen. The cover of his book "Pakistan: Eye of the Storm" lists his surnames without a hyphen. The only places that seem to list his surnames with a hyphen are (1) this Wikipedia page and (2) the cover of his book "Target Britain." Given the credit on the BBC, it seems that his name should not be hyphenated. Lhimec (talk) 05:21, 29 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

First of all, please don't start a discussion and then enact the move anyway; that's considered really bad wiki-quette. Second, you clearly didn't look very hard for other sources that use a hyphen. This BBC article, for example, lists him with a hyphen. And surely the publishers of his book would get his name right? As it is, there are multiple reliable sources for both names, so the article should stay where it is since that is where it was started. – PeeJay 07:49, 29 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
Furthermore, his brother is Peter Bennett-Jones, and his name is very definitely spelled with a hyphen too. – PeeJay 07:51, 29 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
