editAs a reference for future reviews, I've added even more sources now. They are structured as follows:
[1] primary source where overlap fermions were introduced (>1300 citations)
[2-4] peer reviewed publications discussing overlap fermions in detail and comparing them to other approaches
[5,8] text books dedicating a section each to an introduction and detailed explanation of overlap fermions (relevant chapter indicated)
[6] open access journal review providing an introduction as well as an overview over the uses of overlap fermions (>300 citations)
