Is this an ad?Wetman 12:00, 30 Nov 2003 (UTC)

This is certainly not an ad. However, in England the product is known as Ovaltine (see http://zeus.ia.net/~gheller/ovalgon/ovaltine.htm for an explanation and also the song "Who Put the Benzedrine in Mrs Murphy's Ovaltine?"), so it might be a good idea to have a redirect to or from Ovaltine. --KF 13:27, 30 Nov 2003 (UTC)

Ovaltine

Can anyone check whether this product is available in the US, too? It is known as Ovaltine in the UK, so maybe it should be moved.... -- Kokiri 17:10, 22 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Oh, maybe... can somebody find out where this product is available in general (and then add it to the article)? -- Kokiri 17:12, 22 Jul 2004 (UTC)

I think the article should mention the movie "A Christmans Story" which (re)popularized Ovaltine in the US.

O(vom)altine

I moved this from Ovomaltine. I think this is justified because it is known as Ovaltine in the UK, US, and Australia. It is the brand used in English-speaking countries as well as Asia. Dforest 8 July 2005 04:12 (UTC)

Well, I think in the future this article will be moved back and forth at regular intervals. Lots of arguments can be found for either name. This is just like Crusade, Crusades, The Crusades etc. etc. Personally, I believe that as long as there is no need for disambiguation, the content is much more important. If you can't find an article at once, that's what redirects are for. <KF> 17:39, August 1, 2005 (UTC)
