Offtopic screed

Nearly 80 years of blocking Hill's original work, when finally published it is edited to put a conservative Christian spin on everything. Thought police in the Hill Foundation - leave Hill's original works alone!!! What are you afraid of, who are you working for? His writings do not need to be “edited” (hacked to pieces and ruined) for a "contemporary audience” (an old-fashion, horrifically cautious and fearful religious base). Instead, let the work stand on its own and do what Hill would have liked it to do, encourage free thinking.

It's an amazing book and the commentary, though annoying at times is often helpful and can easily be ignored if one chooses to do so. I am grateful such an incredibly truthful work was successfully published in this dark time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.80.194.232 (talk) 03:46, 9 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Screwtape Letter and Outwitting the Devil

edit

is it strange that The Napolean Hill Outwitting the Devil (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outwitting_the_Devil) and C.S. Lewis The Screwtape Letters (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:The_Screwtape_Letters) speak on basically the same subject and were written around the same time?

A devil/demon speaks and exposes his plans and technique to control men, and both mention the term "Drifting".

Publication date

edit

If the book was actually written in 1938 but not published until 2011, the latter is its actual publication date, regardless of when it was actually written. Cf. Letters from the Earth'" by Mark Twain and also his autobiography. 2600:1004:B176:F017:0:2A:A86B:FE01 (talk) 17:29, 23 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
