Editing back and forth edit

It seems there is quite a bit of editing going on regarding the episode summary, before the episode has aired. The plot description is being changed back and forth from not much to an opinionated version of what the episode will be like. Macgyver Tape 21:16, 5 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Content edit

So sad.. The article seems to be a complete plagiarism of the recap found at NBC's website. Mikr18 16:08, 6 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

It did seem to start out that way, but it's been getting modifications here and there that are moving it closer to the realm of semi-original content. Isarian 00:48, 7 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Intro edit

I dont know if anyone noticed but the inter-title at the start (usually sort of orange color) changed to like green color, any reason for that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrew22k (talkcontribs) 16:20, 6 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

It's part of NBC's Green Week. Josh (talk | contribs) 16:32, 6 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
Should some mention be made of the fact that the "Heroes" at the start was said by Hiro in Japanese? (Wikirocks2 (talk) 00:30, 17 November 2007 (UTC))Reply

A Twist edit

That was a really big twist @ the end, no one in my family was expecting that. Was M. Night Shyamalan working on that episode? C&C Modder 11:46, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Peter's Memory edit

Are we sure that Peter has regained his memory completely? My interpretation was that he accidentally read his mother's mind, relearning their history from her memories. (The sound effects were the same used for Matt Parkman's abilities, which Peter has absorbed and have been shown to have greater reach than just telepathy.) That wouldn't necessarily give him back the rest of his memory. Slurms MacKenzie 17:21, 6 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

He doesn't seem to have regained his memory completely, but it seems pretty clear that he used Matt's ability to rebuild a partial set of memories with the proper subconscious motivation. Matt/Maury can both control anything in the brain, so it's not unreasonable to assume that they could rebuild the neural pathways substantiating memories as easily as they can tamper with other mental functions. However, it doesn't seem that he read those memories from his mother because they were not from Angela's point of view - they were from Peter's. Isarian 00:47, 7 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
I've reworked the notes to exclude "mind control" since it was actually mind reading. He didn't "get the memories back". Instead he perceived his childhood from his mother's viewpoint. Has it been said anywhere that the Haitian erased his memory? Feldon23 16:49, 8 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
I think I remember it being said that the Haitian and Peter's memory loss were explicitly related but at this point it is speculation. I'm pretty sure that Matt's ability can be classified as "mind control" now based on what we've seen Maury do and what Bob has indicated, although Matt's attempts at grasping the more advanced functions of it have been amateur at best so far. In the episode, all of Peter's flashbacks showed his mother's face, so they couldn't have been from his Angela's point of view - they had to be from his. I'd like to change the wording back to "utilizes Parkman's mind control ability and is able to rebuild some of his lost memories (specifically those relating to his mother)". Can I get a consensus on this? Isarian 20:43, 8 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well, now with "Four Months Ago" in the books, we know for sure that The Haitian mindwiped Peter. He recoups the rest of his memory with Adam Monroe's healing ability, although I think the recall in this episode should still be associated with Parkman. The common sound effect links them pretty explicitly in my mind. Slurms MacKenzie 08:24, 13 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

The 7 Remainings Paintings edit

Many of the paintings Bennet and The Haitian burned are seen in this episode. Which of them appeared? There are at least the ones with Peter behing the "Bio-hazard" window and the fight between Hiro and Takezo, but i can't remembered correctly the others. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.80.91.165 (talk) 18:51, 6 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Although not exact, one painting showed Mohinder having shot a gun and his nose was bandaged from when Niki punched him. 207.69.139.145 22:34, 6 November 2007 (UTC)karinaReply

The paintings, and the events they depict that have occurred as of this episode, are:

  • Claire unconscious on the stairs (happened in The Line, previous episode)
  • A hand holding a vial (probably the virus injection from The Line, but possibly also from this episode)
  • Niki beating on a door (probably this episode, Bob's door)
  • Shocked Peter standing in front of biohazard window (this episode, in the future)
  • Hiro and Kensei fighting (this episode, in the past)
  • Mohinder with a broken nose firing a gun (a Company-issue gun, according to Noah Bennett) (hasn't happened yet, but his nose has been broken and he's received the gun, so it could potentially happen as soon as next episode)
  • Noah's death (hasn't happened yet, but I think it will soon)

Just a small comment, I modified the page, changing "Noah Bennet snaps photos of Isaac Mendez paintings and sends them to Mohinder Suresh before lighting them all on fire." to remove that he sent the images to Suresh - He never sent them as Suresh stopped him beforehand telling him he now has a partner. Suresh never saw the pictures. Hope no one objects to that. Ravend 00:20, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Time Changing?? edit

Does anyone have any insight to the workings of quantum mechanics, could they comment on whether Caitlan is still alive or not, or, accessible or not? While I know in real life, time travel is currently known as impossible, but since the virus no longer exists, is it conceivable that the future she was trapped in, no longer exists? If so, did she die with that universe? This might not be important for this article, but could be important if we want to state her current status, eg - Alive, or dead.Baaleos (talk) 23:11, 8 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
