See Wikipedia:Ownership of articles. -- Chuq (talk) 04:51, 13 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notability edit

Since I removed the tag I'll explain myself: I'm not the creator of the article and I don't mind if this article gets deleted, if that is the decision - but I'm not sure about whether speedy deletion is warranted or not.

I remember there being a centralised discussion on inclusion of schools, but I can't find the result, either at Wikipedia:Schools, Wikipedia:WikiProject Schools, Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Common_outcomes, Wikipedia:Centralized discussion. There may be more but I thought such a policy would be easy to find, and I wanted to remove the tag before it was speedied to allow due process. (OTOH speedy deletion may be appropriate anyway - but I am not sure!) -- Chuq (talk) 04:51, 13 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm going to put it back on, I'm quoting Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Albuera Street Primary School even though it's not finished yet it's pretty much forgone now. It has rapidly escalated beyond single primary school to a list of schools created "because they were redlinked at a list of schools articles".Garrie 04:25, 21 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

BTW. Regardless of inclusion criteria, template:db can be used for any article where notability has not been asserted can't it? And where in this article is an attempt at establishing notability been made?Garrie 04:30, 21 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Criteria edit

I assume I won't get a response to this, but please do not vandalise my user page in future. If you have a comment, however abusive the nature of your comment, add it to my talk page, not to my user page. I do not know this school but I do not need to. Upon reading "what is wikipedia" and other relevant pages I think you should pay more attention to what wikipedia is not. It is not a reference book for every street, school and playground in the world and you have not included any information about the historical or current interest involved in the school. I do not know what made me initially place an "AfSD" tag on this as it was more than a week ago, but if i did so then it would have been for justified reasons. Again please refrain from any further vandalism of my user page as it is not appreciated Douglike 12:17, 13 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

In case you are not sure, the user who vandalised your page was User:203.129.150.61, the same IP that posted the comment at the top of this page. Normally I would suggest go to their user talk page, but there isn't usually much point trying to reason with vandals. -- Chuq (talk) 00:00, 14 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
