Article Notability

edit

Hi. I'm the original writer of the article. I'm not really on Wikipedia much anymore and chose the 'right to vanish' on my account, but wanted to note my removal of the notability tag. This may or may not be a cultural or generational thing, but basically this poem is the origin point of the "I'm going to heaven because I've spent my time in hell" saying, meme, poem, etc. that has been extremely pervasive throughout military culture, especially U.S. military culture, as well as other similar cultures such as first responders, etc. This information simply wasn't on Wikipedia before, and I was kind of pleased to be able to contribute actual new information to the site. Anyone's choice to reorganize or reformat the article, by all means, please do, but I don't believe it's non-notable information -- it's the source of a saying/meme/thought pattern that's been very pervasive throughout culture. 207.181.193.204 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 17:06, 29 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Also adjusted introduction and removed that tag. Please add it back if you still find it confusing, but if so, specifying what remains that is confusing would be helpful. 207.181.193.204 (talk) 17:10, 29 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
