Missing info edit
Some background on his departure from Germany would be good; like Max Born, Königsberger may have had jewish ancestry rather than being jewish himself.
And., might I add, some info on how he managed to remain working in India as a German national during the war?
Need to incorporate this somewhere - this article talks about Königsberger's resignation in India, which led on to his ideas of Action Planning:
Rhodri Windsor Liscombe (2008-02-10). "In-dependence: Otto Koenigsberger and modernist urban resettlement in India - Planning Perspectives". Routledge. Retrieved 2008-02-10. Koenigsberger espoused non-sectarian and standard solution, especially for housing. This thinking was most evident in his partially realized scheme for pan-regional prefabricated dwelling units. The failure of this enterprise and ensuing political controversy caused him to resign and move to London.
A better explanation of Action Planning is required - needs an expert.
Also, something on work in Africa would be good - eg resettlement into prefab wooden housing at the Akosombo Dam project. Königsberger described one of these settlements as successful in 1971:

Indian Ministry of Health edit
I see a wikilink to the current ministry of health has appeared. I didn't make that link when I wrote the article, because I was unsure if it's the correct thing to link to. In 1952, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation (India) was formed - you'll notice that this coincides with his resignation. I don't have references that say it was split off but clearly this is the function formerly covered by Königberger's office, and I wasn't sure which modern ministry to link to. If anyone has some background info on this it would be great. It might be best just to add something like '(after K.'s departure Housing was managed by the Min.
