Anti-Fascist Convictions edit

The placement of the bit which mentions this - "Despite his anti-fascist convictions, he joined the bersaglieri during the First World War." This can seem a bit misleading since one has little to do with the other - his anti-fascist convictions could not come into play in regard to his service, since prior to the war Fascism didn't exist. Benito Mussolini was a Socialist during his tenure in the military - socialist proclivities were not quite as much of a factor in that war (though iirc Italian Socialist groups were against the war in certain times) as they would be for Italy afterwards. 2601:87:4400:AF2:84D7:679C:1DA0:C7F6 (talk) 19:09, 12 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Possible Typo edit

The second sentence of the last paragraph of the section "Professional Racing" reads: "He abandoned the Tour of 1926 on a stage which those who were there described as apocalytpic because of the cold and the violence of the win."

Should the last word, "win", read as "wind"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.80.238.192 (talk) 06:39, 17 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I agree with "wind", as the original typo was "winf". However, Google translates that word as "rain". Flatscan (talk) 02:49, 19 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
