I can certainly understand an argument that this cat, despite sourced national media coverage, fails WP:Notability. However, I do not see how it can qualify for WP:CSD#A7, which does not require notability, but merely that the article "makes any credible claim of significance or importance". The she "gained notoriety when she successfully received a diploma from an online high school" is clearly a claim of significance. (Also, the descriptor of the stories as "local" is inaccurate; msnbc.com is not local.) -- Nat Gertler (talk) 05:08, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
