Ordish–Lefeuvre system edit

I'm a structural engineer but never heard of the Ordish–Lefeuvre system until today. However, the claim that only two bridges have used this system ignores the Brooklyn Bridge. Isn't it the same system? While the article defines the O-L as a parabolic cable connecting only at the centerline otherwise with stays, the BB has a catenary same as other suspension bridges, but was also originally designed and built with stays (sufficient to carry the dead load if the cables failed). Shouldn't the article discuss the BB also? Cscawthorn (talk) 16:11, 23 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
