Having trouble filling in orders between Luxor spotlight and stuff like stars. edit

I'm having trouble locating luminosity ratings on high-powered lasers. There's a big gap between 10^9 (Luxor) and 10^24 lumens (dimmest red dwarf stars). Anybody out there with laser experience? 72.241.44.72 (talk) 15:39, 4 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Addendum: Sent request to National Ignition Facility via their contact form for specs on their 500 TW combined laser shots, as reported via Fox News and other outlets in July 2012. I'm not sure if I have enough info to calculate the luminous flux of those shots. 72.241.44.72 (talk) 18:54, 19 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Sun edit

The source cited[1] for the Sun's luminous flux gives the Sun's power output, but it does not give a luminous efficacy, or a luminous flux.--Solomonfromfinland (talk) 00:43, 30 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

I added a reference from the article Luminous efficacy. — Edgar.bonet (talk) 14:28, 30 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Original link is indeed broken. Could not find a new URL to the same page with Google nor through the energyfederation.org's own search engine. Archive page is fine. — Edgar.bonet (talk) 15:46, 4 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
