The current citations (such as the one at IUCN) are inactive, and it appears that the internet archive doesn't have a snapshot saved for the Opuntia echios article. Definitely need new sources or to find another archive. Deku link (talk) 22:58, 5 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
The species very well covered in McMullen, Conley K. (1999), Flowering Plants of the Galápagos, Ithaca, New York: Cornell University Press, ISBN978-0-8014-8621-0, but I haven't checked the detail in the article against the book (which I have a copy of).
